Public Exhibitions

and Events.

Barry Lewis and I attended the Royal Bath and West Show 2018, in collaboration with the City of Bath College, to demonstrate some of our releases and technical demonstrations in Virtual Reality (VR) that we created as part of our FdSc and BSc degrees with the University of Bath. It was a great opportunity to test our products in such a public space and to see the public's reception to our work.

For our final project for our FdSc in Applied Computing, Barry Lewis and I created a Virtual Reality (VR) project for the Google Cardboard. Our client for the piece was Somerset Coalfield Life Radstock Mining Museum with the aim of increasing customer interest in the client's establishment and to hopefully draw in more clientele for them. The application was a mine experience designed to give fun, yet also educational, information about what it was like working in the mines. For this, we worked very closely with the museum and ex-miners to ensure the best results for the client. The application is still being used to-date and has helped with the goal of attracting more customers to their establishment.

As mentioned in various places on my site, my eventual goal is to create an indie developer studio with Barry Lewis, mainly specializing in Virtual Reality (VR), but also creating different games and experiences both for commercial and personal uses. We have given ourselves the goal of getting this company up and running by the end of 2020.
