About Me.

PROFESSIONAL INFO

I am a developer with a main passion for creating bespoke script solutions and applications.

I particularly enjoy programming in C# language but am able to code to an advanced standard of execution with a variety of coding languages.

My current focus is mainly VR applications (be that games or experiences) however, I generally enjoy coding as a whole and enjoy experimenting to see what I can do within the realms of a given coding language and have therefore created many different applications in many different formats.

VR Inside a Computer - City of Bath College

For our final project for our BSc in Applied Computing, Barry Lewis and I created a Virtual Reality (VR) project for the HTC Vive. Our client for the piece was the Hardware department at City of Bath College and we also conducted work-based research related to the field of VR using this application with permission from the client. The application was an educational piece designed to educate users on the workings of various computer components by transporting the user inside a computer.

VR Mine Ride Experience - Somerset Coalfield Life

For our final project for our FdSc in Applied Computing, Barry Lewis and I created a Virtual Reality (VR) project for the Google Cardboard. Our client for the piece was Somerset Coalfield Life Radstock Mining Museum with the aim of increasing customer interest in the client's establishment and to hopefully draw in more clientele for them. The application was a mine experience designed to give fun, yet also educational, information about what it was like working in the mines. For this, we worked very closely with the museum and ex-miners to ensure the best results for the client. The application is still being used to-date and has helped with the goal of attracting more customers to their establishment.
