Radstock Museum: VR Mine Experience.

VR Mine Experience Overview

For our final project for our FdSc in Applied Computing, Barry Lewis and I created a VR project for the Google Cardboard for Android mobile phones. Our client was Somerset Coalfield Life Radstock Mining Museum and our aim was to try to increase public interest in the museum. The application is a mine experience designed to give fun, yet also educational, information about conditions in the mines. We worked very closely with the museum and ex-miners to ensure the best results for the client.

The application is still being used to-date and has helped with the goal of attracting more customers to their establishment.
